Pole-Zero plots via PeZ
Just follow the instructions.

Do This:
Example 1

  1. Click on the P button, then click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 0.8.
  2. Next click on the Z button, and click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = -1.
  3. The Magnitude Response and Phase Response plots will look like those in the text.
Example 2
  1. Follow the steps for Example 1.
  2. Select 3D Pole-Zero Plot
  3. Click on the 3D plot and drag for a different view.
Example 3
  1. Click on the P button, then click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 0.8.
  2. Next click on the Z button, and click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 0.
Example 4
  1. Click on the PP button, then click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 0.9e±jπ/3.
  2. Next click on the Z button, and click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 1.
  3. Click Z again and click at z=-1.
Example 5
  1. Click on the PP button, then click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 0.85e±jπ/2.
  2. Next click on the Z button, and click on the Pole-Zero Plot at z = 1.
  3. Click Z again and click at z=-1.
  4. Select 3D Pole-Zero Plot.
